TaCZ: Presence

Great, now we have guns in Minecraft. But doesn’t it feel like something is missing? Like… immersion? Basically, this mod exists to “fix” that part.

TaCZ Presence 1.4

Optimization and Compatibility

  • Curios API: Optimized integration with the "Curios For Ammo Box" mod. Special thanks to @nanaios for the pull request.
  • Shoulder Surfing: Added and improved damage indicator compatibility when using the over-the-shoulder camera.
  • Visual Performance: Optimized textures for overlays and sniper glare, achieving better overall performance.
  • Glare System: Removed the automatic dependency on zoom levels higher than 4x to trigger glare. It can now be manually configured for specific sights, allowing greater precision for addon creators.

New Features

  • Damage Indicators: Implemented two new visual styles selectable in the configuration menu.
  • Suppression System: When taking nearby fire or direct hits, a peripheral blur, camera shake, and dark edge overlay will be applied. This system is fully customizable.
  • Fire Blur: A quick edge blur effect is generated when firing to simulate recoil intensity. Adjustable in settings.
  • Muzzle Smoke: Added two smoke variants when firing. Includes a "dense smoke" option around the weapon (currently experimental and disabled by default).
  • Low Health: When health is low, the screen will show a "ghosting" effect and a persistent red tint until healed. This is an experimental feature and is disabled by default.
  • Impact Overlay: Depending on the distance and the type of material hit (dirt, sand, or concrete), the screen will display dynamic debris particles.
  • Focus Overlay: When aiming (ADS), the edges of your vision will subtly darken to improve visual focus on the target.
