[TaCZ] edsMCJE Raids
Call in a raid with a radio and hold your ground against waves of soldiers armed with TaCZ guns, alone or with friends. Deploy your own troops and give them orders.
Requires TaCZ and Cloth Config
What is this mod?

edsMCJE Raids turns TaCZ's guns into a full combat game mode. Use the Pocket Radio and a combat zone appears around you. Hostile soldiers attack in rounds from outside the edge. They push toward you, take cover, flank, and shoot back.
You don't have to fight alone. Deploy troops from a terminal, call reinforcements by radio, or set up a beacon that sends soldiers automatically on a timer. Then command them with ctrl + x or sneak + right click.
Features

Radio-called raids
- Hold right-click on the Pocket Radio to call a raid on your position.
- Sneak + right-click to configure how the raid happens:
- zone radius
- number of rounds
- enemies in round 1 and how many more each round
- where they attack from: all sides, north, east, south, west, or a random direction each round
- A glowing wall marks the zone. A boss bar shows the countdown, the round and how many hostiles are left.
- Enemies spawn outside the edge at random intervals and come in squads or individually.
- Last three enemies remaining glow through walls.
Smart enemy soldiers
Pillager soldiers in urban camo and armored gear, with glowing visors and their own combat AI:

- They fight with the type of gun that they have. Snipers, marksman rifles and machine guns hang back and take high ground. Shotguns, SMGs and pistols rush in and flank. Assault rifles do a bit of everything.
- They find a way in when they can't walk straight to you, whether you're in a bunker, a tunnel, upstairs or behind walls. They use stairs, ladders, drops and doors.
- They take cover when shot from far away, sidestep while trading fire, fall back when badly hurt and flank enemies they've lost sight of.
- They keep their distance: about 10 blocks from you and spread out instead of bunching up.
Your own troops
Villager soldiers in tactical gear, recruited by you:
- Field Deployment Terminal: pick how many troops, their weapon class (rifles, SMGs, snipers, shotguns, pistols, machine guns or random) and their armor, then deploy.
- Reinforcement Radio: troops arrive at your nearest terminal, ready to roam and engage.
- Reinforcement Beacon: sends one troop every few minutes, as many as you choose.
- Gear screen (sneak + right-click a trooper): change their gun, armor and backpack, and give them their orders.
- Command menu (Ctrl + X): orders for all your nearby troops at once:
- Follow me
- Hold position
- Roam & engage
- Move there: the block you're looking at
- Hold fire / Fire at will
- During raids your troops hunt the enemies, search the zone for the last stragglers, and regroup at your terminal between waves.
- A troop counter and an outline that shows through walls, both visible only to you, help you keep track of them.
Co-op
- Players near you when you call the raid join your squad, and so do players who walk into the zone later.
- Shared boss bar, shared rewards. The raid only fails when the whole squad is out.
- The caller's radio settings decide the raid.
Balanced for survival play
- Soldier damage is configurable per side and per gun type, with a cap per hit. So that your able to play how you want.
- Soldiers' fire rate can be capped, so high-RPM guns arent overpowered.
/edsraid gun: hold any TaCZ gun to see its class, stats and how hard it hits in a soldier's hands.
- Works with any TaCZ gun pack. Soldiers use whatever guns you have installed, and guns from packs that break in a mob's hands are swapped out automatically.
Fully configurable
You can configure:
- health, aim, reaction time, spotting range and fire rate
- spacing, take-cover behavior and gun drop chance
- squad sizes, enemy weapons and armor
- rewards, co-op rules, deployment cost and limits
- server limits for radio settings, and more
How to start

- Craft a Pocket Radio, or take one from the creative tab.
- Sneak + right-click to edit your raid.
- Hold right-click to call it in.
- Stay inside the zone and survive every round.
Want backup? Place a Field Deployment Terminal, deploy some troops, and press Ctrl + X to command them.
