Tactical Missiles

Tactical Missiles is a large-scale missile, explosives, and battlefield systems mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 built around guided strikes, launcher infrastructure, strategic payloads, and high-impact combat sandbox gameplay.

What began long ago with the legacy of ICBM has been heavily expanded, reworked, rewritten, and reshaped into something far broader: a modern missile warfare mod with new weapons, new utility systems, new targeting tools, new power options, and a much larger tactical toolbox than the original project ever offered.

This is not just “attach explosive to rocket and fire.”

Tactical Missiles is built around the idea of giving players many different kinds of strikes for many different jobs. Some warheads are meant for raw destruction. Others are for bunker penetration, anti-armor, interception, weather control, terrain denial, utility, infrastructure sabotage, underground shock attacks, anti-power warfare, fallout weapons, and precision elimination.

From hardened launch sites and cruise platforms to hypersonic weapons, MIRVs, custom nuclear payloads, anti-air interception, smart targeting, power generation, and specialty warheads, the mod is designed to make missile systems feel like an actual part of your world rather than a single-use gimmick.

FAQ

Q: Is this ICBM?
A: No. Tactical Missiles is a separate, modernized missile mod project built on legacy foundations but expanded far beyond the old scope. It is rewritten, more content has been added. There's also been many optimizations to improve performance, remove lag (such as the case with the nuclear missiles and effects) to make the mod run smoother and add way more content, this is it's own animal.

Q: Is this only about nuclear missiles?
A: No. The mod includes conventional, tactical, strategic, utility, denial, anti-air, anti-power, terrain, environmental, and specialty payloads such as hypersonic missiles, hypersonic glide vehicles, kamikaze drones and interceptors to name a few.

Q: Can I use it in tech modpacks?
A: Yes. It is designed to fit well into larger 1.12.2 packs, especially those with power, automation, defense, and faction gameplay.

Q: Is it focused only on PvP?
A: No. It works for PvP, PvE, base building, defense networks, roleplay, scenario maps, and large modded survival worlds.

Q: Does it include custom launcher and targeting infrastructure?
A: Yes. Tactical Missiles is built around launchers, targeting tools, radar, control systems, and support blocks rather than only standalone explosives.
