Tactical Melee Attribute Compat

A lightweight compatibility mod made for LesRaisins Tactical Equipements, which mainly fixes and improves the integration of its melee weapons with Minecraft and Forge attribute systems.
After installation, melee weapons from LRTactical will properly read the player's Attack Speed and Entity Reach attributes, allowing attribute bonuses from armor, potions, trinkets or other mods to actually impact melee combat performance.

Core Features

  • Supports generic.attack_speed: Scales melee attack cooldowns based on the Attack Speed attribute to make high attack speed bonuses function properly.
  • Supports forge:entity_reach: Adjusts melee hit range according to the Entity Reach attribute value.
  • Covers all LRTactical hit detection modes including raycasting, cone checks and OBB collision filtering.
  • Optimizes damage calculation for rapid consecutive strikes, mitigating lost damage caused by invincibility frames or server-side attack timeouts.
  • Comes with configurable options to tweak the maximum attack speed multiplier and minimum cooldown buffer.
