Description
Sylvan Veins
Two new enchantments that make chopping trees and mining ore quicker and more satisfying.
Enchantments
- Sylvan Fall (axes): Break one log and the whole connected tree comes down.
- Sylvan Vein (pickaxes): Break one ore and the rest of the connected vein is mined with it.
Each has its own enchanted book with a custom cover: Sylvan Fall looks like flowering azalea leaves, and Sylvan Vein looks like deepslate diamond ore.
Features
- Works like normal mining: Every extra block is broken as if you mined it yourself, so Fortune, Silk Touch, Unbreaking, XP and durability all work as usual.
- Sneak to turn it off: Hold Sneak to break just one block.
- Tool protection: Each extra block uses durability. If your tool is about to break, the chain stops so you can repair it.
- Build safe: Trees only fall when they have naturally grown leaves, so log houses and wooden builds are left alone.
- Smart veins: Stone and deepslate versions of the same ore are mined together.
- Server friendly: Respects spawn protection and land-claim mods.
Getting the Enchantments
- Enchanting tables can put Sylvan Fall on axes and Sylvan Vein on pickaxes.
- Both can show up as enchanted books in chest loot, like dungeons and mineshafts.
- Librarian villagers may sell either book.
- Both are equally likely to show up.
Installation
- Singleplayer: Add Sylvan Veins and Fabric API to your mods folder.
- Servers: Add Sylvan Veins and Fabric API to the server's mods folder, then restart the server.
- Players: Not required to join a server, even with plain vanilla Minecraft. Install it on your client too if you want the custom book covers.
Limits
- Up to 256 logs per tree and 128 blocks per vein.
- Searches up to 16 blocks from the first block you break.
Requirements
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
- Fabric API
