What's new

Swarm Miner 1.0.4

For Minecraft 26.1.2 and NeoForge 26.1.2 (every build from 26.1.2.0-beta).

A swarm pays for its work, and for nothing else

  • The Silo Core has its own tank, one million FE, and that is where the cable goes. Hover it with Jade, right-click it, or read it on the station's Swarm tab and on the tablet: the fuel is listed on its own, never mixed in with the station's power.
  • Flying is free. A drone carries no charge and bills the silo for each block as it breaks it. Distance costs nothing, launching costs nothing, coming home costs nothing. What you pay for is the ore, at one price whatever the ore is, and the Swarm tab has always shown that price.
  • Drones used to leave with enough fuel for a full hold and the longest trip home, then hand back the rest. A trip could tie up thirty thousand FE to spend a few hundred, and the leftovers could be lost outright when the tank refilled while the drone was out. All of that is gone.
  • An empty silo grounds the swarm and the Alerts app says why, instead of leaving you guessing.
  • The station's own buffer is down to 200,000 FE from a million. It pays for prospecting and for the chunks it keeps loaded, and the million was sized for the days when it also had to charge eight drones at once. Worlds that already have a config keep whatever is written in it.
  • Working the blast doors costs a little. Configurable, like everything else.
  • The Silo Power Socket is retired: a block to craft for something the core does better. No recipe, gone from the creative tab. The ones already built stay standing as ordinary ring plates.
  • The config lost drones.energyCapacity and drones.flightEnergyPerBlock, which no longer mean anything.

Fixed

  • Taking a block out of a silo breaks it, as it always should have. Mining a casing off the ring left the silo working as though the pad were whole: only the hatch and the ports told the core to look again. Any silo block, removed or put back, now makes the core check its shape.
