What's new

Swarm Miner 1.0.2

For Minecraft 26.1.2 and NeoForge 26.1.2 (every build from 26.1.2.0-beta). Existing worlds keep working, but see the note on pipes below.

Fixed

  • Drones no longer shuttle in and out once a chunk is nearly worked out. The survey finds the last few ores one at a time, and the station used to launch a whole new drone for each one, so the silo doors opened and closed all day. A drone with nothing to fetch now hovers over the silo and takes the next find itself. After fifteen seconds with nothing to do it lands, so the "nothing left to mine" notice still reaches you.

Changed

  • Pipes and cables now attach to the three silo ports, not to plain casing. Silo Casing, Silo Hatch and Silo Core carry nothing: modules go in at the Silo Intake Port, ore comes out of the Silo Output Chute, and power arrives at the Silo Power Socket. Any face of the silo used to accept anything, which left the three ports with no reason to exist.
If you are updating: craft a port, put it in place of a casing block where your pipe or cable already arrives, and the connection works again. The station block itself still takes power directly, as before.
  • The ports are cheaper to make, now that a silo needs them: one row of casing, core, casing makes two — a hopper for the intake, a dropper for the chute, a copper ingot for the socket (it took eight casing and a copper block before).
  • The three ports say what goes through them in their tooltip.
