What if getting eaten by the Wither Storm didn't mean dying?

Swallowed Alive changes what happens when players and mobs are consumed by Cracker's Wither Storm Mod.

Instead of being killed, the victim is sent inside the Wither Storm's Bowels and restored to full health.

FEATURES

Players Can Be Swallowed Alive

If a player is completely eaten by the Wither Storm:

• The player does not die
• They are sent into the Bowels
• Their health is restored to maximum
• There is no normal death/respawn process
• Their existing player data is preserved

You didn't escape the Wither Storm.

You just went inside it.

Mobs Can Be Swallowed Alive

Living mobs can also survive being eaten.

Instead of simply disappearing or dying, the mob is moved into the Bowels and restored to full health.

This means you may eventually find things inside the Wither Storm that it swallowed earlier.

That could include:

• Villagers
• Animals
• Hostile mobs
• Named mobs
• Pets
• Equipped mobs
• And other living entities

Only Triggers When Actually Eaten

Simply being caught by the tractor beam does not teleport you.

The addon is designed to trigger when the Wither Storm actually finishes consuming the entity.

You still experience being pulled toward and swallowed by the Storm normally.

The difference is what happens afterward.

WHY I MADE THIS

I always thought it would be more interesting if the things eaten by the Wither Storm actually ended up inside it.

Instead of everything simply dying when consumed, the Bowels can now contain survivors of the Wither Storm.

This also makes getting eaten as a player much more interesting because being swallowed becomes part of the adventure instead of just another death screen.

REQUIRED MOD

Cracker's Wither Storm Mod is REQUIRED.

Swallowed Alive does not add its own Wither Storm or Bowels dimension.

It modifies the consumption behavior of Cracker's Wither Storm Mod.

Make sure you install the file that matches your Minecraft and CWSM version.

FAQ

What happens when the Wither Storm eats me?

Instead of dying, you are sent into the Bowels and restored to full health.

Do I get a death screen?

No. The goal of the addon is for you to actually survive being consumed.

Do I keep my inventory?

Yes. You are being transported rather than normally dying and respawning.

What happens to mobs?

Living mobs that are successfully consumed are sent into the Bowels and healed to full health.

Can my pet get swallowed?

Yes, if it can normally be consumed by the Wither Storm.

So if your favorite wolf gets sucked into the giant three-headed world-eating monster...

you might actually be able to find it again.

Does being caught by the tractor beam immediately teleport me?

No.

The addon is intended to wait until the Wither Storm actually consumes you.

Does this add the Bowels dimension?

No.

The Bowels come from Cracker's Wither Storm Mod.

Does this require Cracker's Wither Storm Mod?

Yes.

CWSM is a required dependency.

Will there be a Fabric version?

No plans currently.

Will there be a NeoForge version?

No plans currently. I would rather spend that time improving the Forge versions.
