Simple Vanilla Utilities: Trash Lock

Lock item types to prevent accidental drops, with visible indicators and persistent client-side settings. Part of the Simple Vanilla Utilities (SVU) series.

Features

• Hover an item and press Ctrl+K to toggle its item-type lock. With no GUI open, the main-hand item is used. The K key can be rebound; Ctrl is required.
• Locks follow the item ID, including differently named, damaged or enchanted versions of that item type.
• Locked slots show a gold underline and a tooltip. Settings are saved to config/svu-trash-lock.json across worlds. No items are locked by default.
• Blocks Q/Ctrl+Q drops, slot THROW actions, cursor-held items dropped by clicking outside the inventory, and normal creative-mode drops.
• Inventory movement, chest transfers, crafting, use and durability loss remain available.
• Does not prevent death drops, server-side removal, logout handling, excess cursor items dropped when closing a screen, the creative deletion slot, or custom mod deletion.

Installation

• Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1 / Java 21.
• Select the file matching your loader: Fabric, Forge or NeoForge. Do not combine loader builds.
• Fabric: Fabric Loader 0.16.10+ and Fabric API.
• Forge: Forge 52.1.0+ in the 52.x series.
• NeoForge: NeoForge 21.1.255+ in the 21.1.x series.
• Client-only: install on your client; the server does not need this mod.

Alpha status

0.1.0-alpha.1 is an Alpha build. Build and automated checks passed; in-game testing is still needed.

アイテムにマウスを重ねてCtrl+Kで種類ごとの誤廃棄ロックを切替。画面を開いていない場合はメインハンドが対象です。黄色の下線と説明を表示し、設定を全ワールド共通で保存します。Q／Ctrl+Qや画面外への投げ捨てを防止します。移動・収納・クラフト・消費は妨げません。死亡、サーバー側削除、画面を閉じた際の余剰カーソルスタック、クリエイティブ削除スロット等は保護対象外です。

Minecraft 1.21.1／Java 21向け。Fabric版のみFabric APIが必要です。クライアント専用で、サーバーへの導入は不要です。現在はAlpha版で、ゲーム内動作確認はまだ完了していません。
