SVU: Build Ruler

Measure building dimensions directly in the world.

Features and controls

• Enable measurement mode with F7 by default.
• Sneak and left-click to select the first and second blocks.
• Display width, depth and height in blocks, including both endpoints.
• Show colored outlines for the selected points.
• Press Backspace to clear the measurement.
• Mining and entity attacks are suppressed while measurement mode is active.

Keys can be changed in Controls. If you also use Interaction Guard, rebind one of the F7 assignments to avoid a conflict.

Installation

Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, Fabric Loader and Fabric API are required. Install this client-side mod in your mods folder. SVU Keybind Helper provides a shared settings entry point when supported and installed.

This is an alpha release for Minecraft 1.21.1.
