What's new

SurvivalCore 1.0.4

Fixes

  • Fixed SurvivalCore resource effects draining or restoring thirst/stamina much faster than intended.
  • Fixed thirst draining extremely fast in hot environments such as the Nether.
  • Fixed the inventory HUD thirst display so it shows a 100-point display scale while keeping the internal thirst value at 150.
  • Fixed thirst and stamina HUD bars remaining visible when the Minecraft HUD is hidden with F1.
  • Fixed /survivalcore config reload and /survivalcore config reloadAndApply crashing in some cases.
  • Updated /survivalcore command messages to match the current config fields and behavior.

Changes

  • Slowed head-underwater thirst recovery to one third of the previous speed.
  • Removed the old SurvivalCore-specific /survivalcore effect ... commands.
  • SurvivalCore effects should now be managed with vanilla /effect commands, such as:
    • /effect give <player> survivalcore:hydrated 5 0
    • /effect clear <player> survivalcore:hydrated

Commands

  • Added shorter thirst and stamina command aliases.
  • Existing legacy player command paths are still kept for compatibility.

Compatibility

  • Existing worlds from 1.0.3 are compatible with 1.0.4.
  • You may see a normal mod version warning when opening an older world, but no world reset or migration is required.

Testing

  • Added automated GameTest coverage for SurvivalCore commands.
  • Verified the 1.0.4 build with runGameTestServer.
