Super Pallet Towner

Become a Pokémon Trainer in Cobblemon. Super Pallet Towner draws power from your party Pokémon: choose up to three of their types, and you gain type-based abilities while your Pokémon receive benefits in return.

• Cobblemon only: every player gets the abilities automatically. NeoOrigins is not needed.
• With NeoOrigins (NeoForge): it becomes the Super Pallet Towner Origin, replacing NeoOrigins' Monster Tamer. Players who choose it get the abilities.
• Fabric: a Fabric edition is available too. Every player gets the abilities, as without NeoOrigins.

Features

• Type Resonance: Choose up to three types from your conscious party Pokémon. Each type grants a different benefit, such as movement, attack speed, mining, armor, or protection from fire.
• Pokémon's Return Gift: Party Pokémon of a selected type gain bonuses too, mainly when fighting Minecraft mobs. Normal Pokémon battles are generally unaffected.
• Resonance Links and Harmonics: Link two or three selected types for combination effects. There are 24 named combinations, including Ore Vein (Rock + Steel) and Master Forge (Fire + Rock + Steel). Other pairs still receive a smaller standard bonus.
• Trainer's Talent: Catch rate +3%.
• When the Party Falls: If your whole party faints, you return to a safe respawn point and your party is healed. An empty party does not trigger this effect.

The bonuses have caps to keep things balanced.

Getting started

1. Install Super Pallet Towner and Cobblemon (NeoOrigins is optional).
2. Add conscious Pokémon to your party.
3. Press Y (Open Pokémon Affinity) to choose types, read their effects, and configure links. You can change the key in Controls.
4. With NeoOrigins only: choose Super Pallet Towner on the Origin selection screen.

A small HUD displays your active types and links. Move and resize it on the HUD tab of the Pokémon Affinity screen.

Without NeoOrigins (and on Fabric)

Every player is a Super Pallet Towner. To switch the add-on off for everyone, set allPlayersWithoutNeoOrigins = false in config/super_pallet_towner-common.toml. The Psychic type's shorter Origin power cooldowns only affect NeoOrigins powers, so that bonus does nothing without NeoOrigins.

With NeoOrigins

The Origin uses this mod's own Trainer Emblem icon, a capture ball wearing a red-and-white cap. Players who previously chose Monster Tamer are moved to Super Pallet Towner automatically. The Origin data is included in the Jar; no separate data pack is needed.

Requirements

Install the following on both the client and server (Minecraft 1.21.1). Use the file for your loader.

• Cobblemon 1.8.1–1.8.3, NeoForge edition (with Kotlin for Forge, which Cobblemon needs)

• Fabric Loader 0.17.2 or newer and Fabric API
• Cobblemon 1.8.1–1.8.3, Fabric edition

Place the file in the mods folder.

Compatibility and support

• With NeoOrigins, this add-on replaces NeoOrigins' main Origin list to swap out Monster Tamer. Other add-ons that replace the same list may conflict. That is why NeoOrigins must be one of the tested versions.
• Air, Light, and Sound are extra types supplied by other Cobblemon add-ons. Combinations using them appear only when a compatible add-on provides those types.
• On Fabric, the Psychic type's shorter Origin power cooldowns do nothing, and the HUD is drawn after the vanilla HUD.
• Version 1.3.1 passed 166 automated tests. Dedicated servers start with no errors on Fabric and on NeoForge (with and without NeoOrigins). On Fabric, the Pokémon Affinity screen (Y), resonance slots, HUD, saved types and several abilities were checked in game.

主な能力

• タイプ共鳴： 手持ちポケモンのタイプから最大3つを選びます。移動、攻撃速度、採掘、防具、炎への耐性など、タイプごとに異なる効果を得られます。
• ポケモンへの返礼： 選んだタイプを持つ手持ちポケモンにも効果が届きます。主な対象はMinecraftのMobとの戦闘で、通常のポケモン同士のバトルには原則として影響しません。
• 共鳴リンクと重奏： 選んだ2タイプまたは3タイプを組み合わせて効果を発動します。「鉱脈共鳴」（いわ＋はがね）や「匠の神炉」（ほのお＋いわ＋はがね）など、名前付きの組み合わせは24種類です。それ以外のペアにも小さな標準効果があります。
• トレーナーの素質： 捕獲率が3%上がります。
• 仲間が倒れた時： 手持ちが全員瀕死になると、安全なリスポーン地点へ帰還して手持ちが回復します。手持ちが0匹の場合は発動しません。

各効果には上限があります。

使い方

1. 本MODとCobblemonを導入します（NeoOriginsは任意）。
2. 戦闘可能なポケモンを手持ちに入れます。
3. Yキー（タイプ共鳴を開く）で画面を開き、タイプの選択、効果の確認、リンクの設定を行います。キーは操作設定で変えられます。
4. NeoOriginsがある場合のみ：オリジン選択画面で「超マサラ人」を選びます。

共鳴中のタイプとリンクは小さなHUDに表示されます。位置や大きさは、タイプ共鳴画面の「HUD」タブで変えられます。

NeoOriginsなしの場合（Fabricも同じ）

全プレイヤーが超マサラ人になります。全員を対象外にしたいときは、config/super_pallet_towner-common.toml の allPlayersWithoutNeoOrigins = false にします。エスパータイプの「オリジン能力のクールダウン短縮」はNeoOriginsの能力が対象なので、NeoOriginsがないと効果がありません。

NeoOriginsありの場合

オリジンのアイコンには本MOD独自の「トレーナーの紋章」を使用しています。以前「ビーストテイマー」を選んでいたプレイヤーは、自動で「超マサラ人」に移行します。オリジンのデータはJarに含まれるため、別のデータパックは不要です。

• Fabric版では、エスパータイプの「オリジン能力のクールダウン短縮」は効果がなく、HUDはバニラのHUDの後に描かれます。
• v1.3.1では自動テスト166件が成功しました。専用サーバーはFabric、NeoForge（NeoOriginsあり・なし）のどれでもエラーなく起動します。Fabric版のゲーム内で、Yキーの画面、スロット、HUD、選んだタイプの保存、いくつかの能力を確認しています。
