Ritual Summoning Stars
Introduce a ritual summoning mechanic using a chalk item that lets you draw a large, visually striking pentagram on the ground, designed around the goat-headed symbol and scaled to cover a 5x5 area. Players can create up to three permanent pentagrams in one world, with chalk breaking after the third placement. The pentagram remains stationary and does not follow the player; its graphic does not tile or duplicate, ensuring a true-to-reference 5x5 design.
After drawing, interact with the pentagram to open a GUI for candle placement. Five candles must be positioned—one at each star point—and their lights precisely line up with the symbol’s edges. Lighting all candles triggers a glowing effect with red particles, ambient sounds, and a mist, starting a 10-second ritual countdown. During this time, special visual and audio effects fill the area.
At ritual completion, the pentagram summons a random non-boss hostile mob with a cursed red name, triple health, double damage, and aggression toward every player nearby. Defeating this entity yields three random items obtainable in survival mode. Each pentagram can activate the ritual once; after the monster is slain, the pentagram fades away, resetting the cycle.
This mod is designed to be survival-friendly, efficient, compatible with multiplayer, and leverages visual and audio effects for immersive gameplay. Community suggestions and additional assets for expanding the ritual system are welcomed.
