Summoning Eggs Being Created

This mod adds balanced crafting recipes for spawn eggs. No dirt-and-sticks nonsense — each egg requires a Name Tag, a Soul Stone (custom item), and mob-specific materials that actually make sense.

Currently craftable mobs:

Cow

Pig

Sheep

Chicken

Zombie

Skeleton

Spider

Creeper

Villager

Wolf

Horse

Only a handful of recipes are available, and there are no plans to add every mob in the game. This is a small, balanced addition to your survival toolkit.

How to get a Soul Stone The Soul Stone is the core ingredient for every spawn egg in this mod. Getting one takes a bit of work — here's the full chain.

Step 1: Craft a Soul Stone Base (Blank)

You need:

1 Netherite Scrap

1 Soul Sand

1 Nether Quartz

6 Cobblestone (or Stone)

This gives you 1 Soul Stone Base.

Bulk crafting: Replace the Netherite Scrap with a Netherite Ingot to craft 4 Soul Stone Bases at once.

Step 2: Upgrade in Smithing Table

Take the Soul Stone Base to a Smithing Table and combine it with:

Cobblestone (any amount, consumed once)

Nether Quartz

The result is a fully charged Soul Stone, ready for spawn egg crafting.

Extra: This mod also backports the Name Tag crafting recipe from version 1.26 to 1.20.1. Now you can craft Name Tags in survival without hunting dungeon loot.
