Waterproof rails so they don't pop up when hit with flowing water. Also dampens creeper blasts on rails. Optional Wrecking Bar tool to gather rails quickly (default)
Description
Version 1:
Doesn't change any blocks, this mod simply cancels the 4 vanilla rails breaking in the event that a non-player broke them. Save your railways from the wrath of anything but removing the block below the rail.
Version 2:

Or don't.
Adds a Wrecking Bar, a very nice destructive tool (configurable radius of connected rails pop up nearly instantly)
