Some additional features to make this mod get to the next level
Add config for certain speed this activates (Idea mainly from Skaliber)
Add config to make the streak only appear when wearing or holding a specific item
Add this as a curse/enchantment.
Make a potion that can make your trail longer or shorter
Add a "tron" config that makes entities/players died when going into contact with it (I highly recommend adding a "tron stick" so that that the reference and use for this config is realized)
Other than that, good luck and thank you for the cool contribution to the community :)
Is there an option in the configuration so that streaks only appear when a player is moving above a certain speed? I haven't had a chance to download this mod yet, but if the config is complex enough, i feel like it would be a great compliment to other mods.
Yeah agreed, would've liked so the trails could only appear when sprinting or jumping or even swimming. Would like to have a config where you can disable the trails but still keep the cool after image effect.
i finally figured out where i went wrong with the configuration file; and here's my end results https://prnt.sc/gh8a9w i like it! its amusing and amazing! But its not without its minor flaws; like any other mod of course. I just kinda wish that this effect had some mod compatibility to it's motion-blur/afterimages; like the fact that any of the items on my back while using your mob that enables tools to appear on my character's back don't show up on my after image while running; so you cant really see the sword on my back as i run by; and the ears and tail from Tails mod are also left out on the motion-blur/afterimage's effect.
But other then these two points of cosmetic details that could be improved upon; this mod is everything it promises and its highly amusing; heck; it might find some great for its visual effects in any videos i make in the future once i get around to creating a roleplay series :D
Hey, just wondering if you could port the 1.8 version over to 1.8.9? Thanks :) ( yes it's me from Back Tools)
In reply to amonster101101:

Came here again to check if it's been fixed but it still outputs the same error with any newer forge version.
Using the latest forge for 1.16.1: 32.0.93 i get:
In reply to Forge_User_47062324:
The same happened to me, but with forge 32.0.75 it works fine, so it's probably a forge problem

Yeah, i noticed it's currently being updated quite often, and all kinds of oddities are popping up with other mods.
This mod is such an AWESOME concept. Great job!

I installed your 1.8-5.0.1 mod in my client and get no paths whatsoever. no error log either.
