Two new armor sets. Two completely different purposes.
📖 What is this mod?
Strata ores adds two armor sets to the game — the Efficiens and the Subterranix — along with their matching tools. They don't replace each other, they exist for different playstyles and different moments in your game.
🟢 Efficiens
The Efficiens ore is pretty common underground… but it won't drop from a pickaxe. You need to blast it with TNT to get anything out of it.After, just mine it with a diamond pickaxe. So getting your hands on it requires a bit of preparation.
In exchange, you get an armor set that sits between iron and diamond in terms of protection. It's not great in a fight and it's not meant to be.
What it's actually for:
- ✅ Extended reach — interact with blocks and entities from further away
- ✅ Solid enough protection for exploring and working
- ✅ Tools that make your daily survival smoother
It's a utility set. You wear it when you're building, mining, farming. Not when you're heading into a boss fight.
🟣 Subterranix
Found deep underground, rare, and hard to craft — the Subterranix set is built for combat and combat only. It goes past Netherite in every stat.
- ✅ Damage that makes fights feel completely one-sided
- ✅ Resistance that lets you survive situations you really shouldn't
- ✅ Extended reach — your enemies barely get close
- ✅ Unique effects when you wear the full set
- ✅ A crafting process that matches the power — this takes real effort
It's the armor you work toward for a long time. When you finally put it on, you feel it.

How do I get Efficiens ore?
It generates commonly, but you need TNT to make it drop. A diamond pickaxe is needed after.

Is Subterranix actually stronger than Netherite?
Yes. Plan your playthrough accordingly.
