Story Mode Legacy – Recreation brings the entire universe of Minecraft: Story Mode into the classic Minecraft experience. The goal of this project is to faithfully recreate blocks, items, mobs, structures, and mechanics inspired by the original game, while making them feel natural inside vanilla survival and adventure gameplay.

This is not just a cosmetic add-on. Every element is being carefully rebuilt: from iconic weapons and armor to rare artifacts, mysterious dimensions, and memorable enemies from the series. On top of that, the mod also includes extra and exclusive items, such as the Gauntlet of Xara and Fred, among others, to expand the experience beyond what was in the original game.

It’s important to note that the mod is still in its early stage of development. Almost everything is being recreated by a single developer (myself), with the exception of some resources that are being used with permission from their original authors (see credits). Many features are still temporary, experimental, or subject to significant changes. Items, mobs, textures, structures, and even entire systems may be improved, reworked, or completely replaced as updates roll out.

Planned content includes:

New weapons, armor, and crafting recipes.

Unique mobs and bosses with special abilities.

Custom dimensions and structures inspired by Story Mode lore.

More extra items and exclusive content created to complement the recreation.

Progressive updates to refine existing features and expand the world.

The long-term vision of Story Mode Legacy – Recreation is to build a complete and immersive recreation of Story Mode inside Minecraft, while keeping it balanced and enjoyable for survival, exploration, and adventure.

FAQ:

Will there be Fabric support?

No. The mod will not support Fabric, I won’t be remaking everything from scratch.

Will there be updates for 1.20.1+?

Maybe. My plan is to keep it on 1.20.1 (possibly up to 1.21.4), but I can’t guarantee future updates.

How can I report bugs?

Can I use this mod in my Modpack?

Yes, as long as you give proper credit.

How can I make a partnership?

Can I use any of your textures or models?

Not without my authorization. Send me a message on Discord so I can review and decide if I’ll allow it.

Do updates take long to release?

It depends. Some updates are easier and faster, but others, like The UnderNeath, are much harder and take longer.

The next update will bring even more content, including Prismarine Blocks, the Command Block, the Order of the Stone Temple, Old Builders Jungle Temple, Maybe the StructureBlock Warrior & Builder, new items and tools, and possibly armor sets (if the models are finished in time). Characters like Reuben and Lluna are also planned! 🐷🐎
