Stellar Cannons

English release notes

First public release of Stellar Cannons, an energy-weapons addon for Create Big Cannons.

• Energy ammunition for big cannons and autocannons in red, green, and blue. Colors have the same gameplay properties.
• Two compatible weapon-part series using CBC mounts and magazines.
• Straight-flight energy projectiles, explosive heavy shells, and AP-based autocannon rounds with ricochets.
• Barrel heat visuals, impact effects, and colored gas when opening the big cannon breech after an energy shot.
• The default classic effects use animated fire and smoke. The alternative cubes style remains available through /stellarcannons effects style classic|cubes|show.
• Personal impact camera-shake settings and server balance commands.

Installation

For Minecraft Java 1.21.1 / NeoForge 21.1.230. Tested with Create 6.0.10, Create Big Cannons 5.11.7, and Ritchie's Projectile Library 2.1.2. Install these mods and their required dependencies for the same Minecraft version and loader.

Close the game, remove any older Stellar Cannons JAR, and place stellar-cannons-0.3.5+mc.1.21.1.jar in the mods folder. In multiplayer, the server and every player need the addon and compatible dependencies.

Getting started

Use the Stellar Cannons creative tab. With commands enabled, /function stellarcannons:starter_kit provides the original series and ammunition; /function stellarcannons:field_kit provides the field-series kit. Use CBC mounts and autocannon magazines.

There are no crafting recipes. The addon is designed for creative building and survival battles where the organizer supplies parts and ammunition. Ammunition is consumed in survival. Heavy energy shells require no separate powder charge; neither ammunition type creates spent casings.

Установка

Для Minecraft Java 1.21.1 / NeoForge 21.1.230. Проверенная связка: Create 6.0.10, Create Big Cannons 5.11.7 и Ritchie's Projectile Library 2.1.2. Установите эти моды и их обязательные зависимости для той же версии Minecraft и загрузчика.

Закройте игру, уберите прежний JAR Stellar Cannons и положите stellar-cannons-0.3.5+mc.1.21.1.jar в папку mods. При сетевой игре аддон и совместимые зависимости нужны серверу и каждому игроку.

Начало игры

Откройте творческую вкладку Stellar Cannons. В мире с разрешёнными командами /function stellarcannons:starter_kit выдаёт прежнюю серию и боеприпасы; /function stellarcannons:field_kit — набор полевой серии. Крепления и магазины автопушки берутся из CBC.

Рецептов крафта нет. Мод рассчитан на творческие постройки и бои в выживании, где организатор выдаёт детали и боеприпасы. В выживании патроны расходуются. Большому энергетическому снаряду не нужен отдельный порох; оба калибра не создают стреляных гильз.
