Overview
Steed adds a reusable Steed Spawn Egg.
Right-click to summon a tamed, saddled horse, mount instantly, and ride a fast steed with built-in storage.
Dismount when you’re done, and the steed despawns so you’re not leaving horses everywhere.
Features
Steed Spawn Egg — spawn, auto-tame, saddle, and mount in one use
Steed Storage — 15-slot chest while riding; press E to open
Owner-only storage — only the summoner can open the chest
Persistent storage — items stay saved per player, per world across summons
Reusable egg — not consumed; 4 second cooldown between spawns
Quick dismount — use the egg while mounted to dismount instantly
Temporary mount — egg-summoned horses despawn on dismount
Swift steed — faster than vanilla horses, and increased jump strength
No fall damage — while riding your steed
Configurable — cooldown, speed, jump, despawn, and fall damage (in-game or config file)
Crafting
How to use
- Craft or obtain a Steed Spawn Egg
- Right-click in the air or on a block
- You mount automatically
- Press E while riding to open Steed Storage (5×3 chest + your inventory)
- Dismount with Shift, or use the egg again while mounted for instant dismount
