Preserves Immersive Armors’ Steampunk Boots fall protection when modded movement interferes with it.
Steampunk Fall Guard is a small compatibility patch for Immersive Armors that helps Steampunk Boots provide their intended fall-damage protection in packs with movement mods.
The boots normally limit accumulated fall distance while equipped, but a later movement update can restore that distance before Minecraft applies damage. This was verified with Grappling Hook’s movement updates.
