What's new

Fabric, Forge, and four more Minecraft versions

Steady Sight now runs on Fabric and on Forge 1.20.1, and supports Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.2 and 26.2. The mod itself is unchanged — same vignette, same camera smoothing, same defaults.

Two differences to be aware of:

  • The in-game settings screen is a NeoForge feature. On Forge 1.20.1 the config file is still written and can be edited by hand; the Fabric builds run on fixed defaults with no config.
  • The Fabric builds do not reset camera smoothing on respawn or dimension change (Fabric has no equivalent event). At worst that is one sub-block smoothing impulse after a respawn.
