Status Peek

Status Peek is an independent Minecraft 1.12.2 implementation inspired by What Are They Up To (WATUT) by Corosus. It lets you see what other players are doing through animated icons and indicators above their heads.

Features

• 💬 Typing — shows an animated chat bubble when a player has their chat open.

• 🎒 Inventory — shows an animated inventory indicator when a player opens their inventory.

• 🛠️ Crafting — shows an animated 3×3 crafting grid.

• 🔥 Furnace — switches between an unlit and lit furnace.

• 📖 Enchanting Table — shows a book with animated purple sparkles.

• ⚒️ Anvil — shows an anvil with an animated spark.

• 📦 Chests & Containers — shows an animated chest for chests and other containers.

• 😴 AFK — shows a Zz indicator after 60 seconds of real inactivity. Sleeping in a bed triggers AFK immediately.

• 💬 AFK notifications — announces when players enter or leave AFK in chat. Messages automatically adapt to English or Spanish.

Important

• Requires the mod on both the client and server.

• Player activity is synchronized over the network.

• Status Peek uses icons and indicators instead of changing the player's actual pose or animations, helping maintain compatibility with mods such as Mo' Bends.

• The mod does not show the contents of other players' inventories.

Configuration

AFK chat notifications are enabled by default and can be disabled with showAfkChatMessages in statuspeek.cfg.

Status Peek is an independent implementation inspired by What Are They Up To (WATUT) by Corosus.

It does not use code or assets from the original project and is not an official port, fork, or continuation of WATUT.

Differences from WATUT

Status Peek was designed specifically for Minecraft 1.12.2 and therefore does not include some features from the original mod, such as actual player arm/pose animations, the screen blur effect, or the Zz indicator in the player list.

The configuration is also simplified, with a single option for AFK chat messages rather than individual toggles for every feature.

Status Peek es una implementación independiente para Minecraft 1.12.2 inspirada en What Are They Up To (WATUT) de Corosus. Permite ver qué están haciendo otros jugadores mediante iconos e indicadores animados sobre sus cabezas.

Características

• 💬 Escribiendo — muestra un bocadillo de chat animado cuando un jugador tiene abierto el chat.

• 🎒 Inventario — muestra un indicador animado cuando un jugador abre su inventario.

• 🛠️ Mesa de crafteo — muestra una cuadrícula de crafteo 3×3 animada.

• 🔥 Horno — alterna entre un horno apagado y uno encendido.

• 📖 Mesa de encantamientos — muestra un libro con chispas moradas animadas.

• ⚒️ Yunque — muestra un yunque con una chispa animada.

• 😴 AFK — muestra un indicador Zz después de 60 segundos de inactividad real. Dormir en una cama activa el estado AFK inmediatamente.

• 💬 Avisos de AFK — anuncia en el chat cuándo un jugador entra o sale del estado AFK. Los mensajes se muestran automáticamente en inglés o español según el idioma del juego.

Importante

• Requiere instalar el mod tanto en cliente como en servidor.

• La actividad de los jugadores se sincroniza mediante la red.

• Status Peek utiliza iconos e indicadores en lugar de modificar la pose o las animaciones reales del jugador, ayudando a mantener la compatibilidad con mods como Mo' Bends.

• El mod no muestra el contenido de los inventarios de otros jugadores.

Configuración

Los avisos de AFK en el chat están activados por defecto y pueden desactivarse mediante showAfkChatMessages en statuspeek.cfg.

Diferencias con WATUT

Status Peek ha sido diseñado específicamente para Minecraft 1.12.2 y, por ello, no incluye algunas características del mod original, como las animaciones reales de brazos y poses del jugador, el efecto de desenfoque de pantalla o el indicador Zz en la lista de jugadores.

La configuración también es más sencilla, con una única opción para los mensajes de AFK en el chat en lugar de opciones individuales para cada función.
