# Starz — Client-Side Command Macros
Starz is a lightweight, pure client-side Fabric mod that lets you bind any chat command to a hotkey and fire it instantly — no server-side installation required.
## Features
- **Instant command hotkeys** — Bind commands like /spawn, /home, /land spawn or /tpa to any key and send them with a single press.
- **Default values** — Store one or more default arguments per command. /land can carry spawn, create, claim, and you switch between them with one click. Values are shown in blue, just like command suggestions in chat.
- **Quick input** — On by default: press the key and the command goes out immediately. Turn it off to have the command pre-filled in the chat bar so you can edit it before sending.
- **Pages / groups** — Organize commands into tabs (General, Land, Teleport...). Create, rename or delete pages, and move or copy commands between pages — the same command can live in several groups at once.
- **Live command picker** — When adding a command, Starz reads the command tree of the world or server you're currently connected to and suggests matches as you type, just like in-game chat. Anything after the first space automatically becomes a default value.
- **Everything persists** — Commands, names, default values and hotkeys are saved to config/starzclient.json and survive restarts.
- **Mod Menu support** — All settings are also reachable through Mod Menu, with a built-in fallback screen when Cloth Config isn't installed.
## Usage
1. Press **S + Z** in game to open the Starz GUI.
2. Click **+ Add command** and pick or type a command.
3. Select a command on the left, then set its default values, quick input mode and hotkey on the right.
4. Right-click an entry to move / copy / delete it; right-click a tab to rename or delete the page.
5. While capturing a hotkey, press **Esc** to clear the current binding, or **Backspace** to cancel without changes.
