Starwindow - In-Game TVs with a Real Web Browser

Starwindow adds craftable TV screens to Minecraft that run a real web browser. Watch YouTube together, open a website, or put a stream on the wall of your base - and every player nearby sees the same thing on their own screen.

FEATURES

- Craftable TV blocks: Place TV blocks next to each other and the screen grows with every block you add, from a small 1x1 monitor up to a huge cinema wall.
- Built-in web browser: Open any web page or video link directly on the screen. Everything is controlled with your crosshair - right-click to click, mouse wheel to scroll, and you can type straight into text fields. No mouse cursor pops up and you never leave the game.
- Starwindow start page: Every TV starts on a clean home screen with quick tiles for YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Google and Wikipedia. A small home button brings you back at any time.
- Settings window: A gear on the start page opens a settings card right on the screen with volume (0-100%), hearing radius (4-64 blocks) and a mute switch. Settings are saved per screen and synced to everyone.
- Distance-based sound: Full volume close to the TV, fading out smoothly towards the edge of the hearing radius.
- Remote control: A craftable remote that turns a screen on or off from up to 64 blocks away.
- Shared viewing: Players near a TV see the same page and the same clicks. Each player runs their own local browser, so logins, cookies and passwords always stay on your own PC and are never sent to other players. Note: the page address (including search terms in it) is shared with nearby players, just like everyone looking at the same screen.
- Clean shutdown: If any block of a screen is broken, the whole screen turns off and sound and video stop immediately.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric Loader
- Fabric API (required)
- MCEF - Minecraft Chromium Embedded Framework (required). On first launch MCEF downloads the Chromium browser files once (about 100-200 MB).
- Every player who wants to see the screens needs the mod installed. The server needs it too.

CREDITS

Starwindow's screen system is modeled on WebDisplays, originally created by montoyo and now maintained by the CinemaMod Group:
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/webdisplays
Some icons and the tile style are based on WebDisplays REMASTER by xmutsix (MIT License).
Browser support is provided by MCEF from the CinemaMod Group.
A big thank you to all of them.

What's new compared to WebDisplays: Fabric 1.21.1 support, crosshair-only controls without a mouse cursor, the Starwindow start page, the on-screen settings card with volume, hearing radius and mute, distance-based sound, the remote control, and instant shutdown when a screen block is removed.

world is a small, gentle fantasy realm, entirely free of magic. It plays with the essence of time and atmosphere, full of mystery, and inviting you to wander along its quiet, timeless paths.

So, in my modpack it's a bit of a mix, a bit of horror, a bit of fantasy, a bit of quests, a bit of this and that. You just can't really describe it, but mainly it has various things in it.
