Play the whole Star Wars saga in Minecraft. Fly from Tatooine to Exegol, build your own lightsaber, choose the light or the dark side, and fight through every film as a story campaign, alone or with friends.

The saga, as a campaign

Open the Saga menu (M) and pick how to play: story order, release order, a New Hope start, or free play. Every chapter tells you what to do, where to go and why.

• Episodes I–IX, rebuilt with big set pieces: the Boonta Eve podrace, Duel of the Fates, the Geonosis arena, Order 66, Mustafar, the Battle of Hoth, Cloud City, Jabba's palace, Endor and the throne room
• Rogue One and Solo
• Series arcs: The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, Andor, Rebels, The Mandalorian and Ahsoka
• Legends: The Old Republic, The Force Unleashed and Fallen Order
• What If…: six alternate endings that open up when you take the darker road
• Play as the heroes: Luke, Leia, Han, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padmé, Mace Windu, Ahsoka and Chewbacca. Watch the big duels or join them, and replay chapters for medals.

30 planets to explore

Tatooine, Hoth, Endor, Mustafar, Dagobah, Kamino, Coruscant, Naboo, Kashyyyk, Jakku, Yavin 4, Geonosis, Utapau, Bespin, Jedha, Eadu, Scarif, Corellia, Vandor, Takodana, Starkiller Base, Ahch-To, Cantonica, Crait, Pasaana, Kijimi, Kef Bir, Exegol, Korriban and Bogano. Each world has its own sky, landmarks and signature activity: race on Tatooine, defend the base on Hoth, chase through Endor, mine crystals on Mustafar. Between them lies open space with asteroid belts, TIE and pirate patrols, a Star Destroyer, and the Death Star, where you can sneak past patrols, free prisoners and steal the plans.

Become a Jedi, a Sith, or neither

• Lightsabers in many colours and styles (double-bladed, crossguard, shoto, Jar'Kai, the Darksaber), built at the Saber Workbench from a hilt, a kyber crystal and an emitter
• Force powers, lightsaber forms, perfect deflects and a dodge roll
• Ranks and a skill tree (N): climb from Padawan to Knight to Master
• Alignment: your choices push you toward the light or the dark side. Spare a villain or finish them; it changes your powers, your saber's glow, how people treat you and how the story ends.
• Seven origins with their own questlines: Jedi, Sith, Smuggler, Rebel, Imperial, Bounty Hunter and Mandalorian

Fight across the galaxy

• Blasters: pistol, rifle and heavy blaster
• Pilotable starfighters like the X-wing, with ship upgrades, paint jobs and a galaxy map
• Boss fights with phases: Vader, Palpatine, Grievous, Maul, the Rancor and more
• Enemies including stormtroopers (shield, sniper, flamethrower, officer), battle droids, droidekas, and animated AT-ATs and AT-STs
• Galactic Conquest: capture command posts on any planet, then win the dogfight in orbit
• Companions (B): hire Wookiees, clones, Ewoks and heroes and give them orders
• Missions at every landing site: assassinations, escorts, raids and wave defence
• Faction war and a wanted level: push too hard and the Empire comes looking

Downtime

• The arcade: a podracing league, a Kessel Run time trial and a dogfight ladder
• Table games: Pazaak, Sabacc and Dejarik
• Creatures: reek, acklay, nexu, varactyl, wampa and a rideable fathier
• Survival: thirst and temperature on harsh worlds

Co-op ready

Play the campaign with friends on a server. Cutscenes are shared and can be skipped by vote, and everyone in the party gets their own boss loot.

Feels like Star Wars

A Star Wars title screen with a hyperspace starfield, a Begin your journey world setup (starting planet, origin, difficulty, alignment, starting kit), hyperspace loading screens, and a HUD for your Force, rank and credits. Dynamic music follows you through every planet, space and boss phase. Don't like the themed menus? Turn them off with the Themed screens setting.

Getting started

1. Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1 and drop StarWCraft into your mods folder.
2. Create a new world and set up your journey.
3. Press M for the Saga menu, O for the Codex, or open the Galactic Datapad to use every /starwars command as a button.

   Features can be switched off in starwarsmod-common.toml under [features]: eraEffects, conquest, arcade, skipVote and personalLoot. All are on by default.

   FAQ

   Which versions? Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge only. There's no Fabric or Forge version right now. Does it work in multiplayer? Yes. Install it on the server and on every player's client. Will updating break my world? No. Existing worlds carry on, and chapters you've already passed are marked done. You can still replay them from the Saga menu. Can I use it in a modpack? Yes, go ahead. Found a bug? Leave a comment with your log and what you were doing.
