v1.6.0 - The Pack Progression Update

📈 The Leveling Rebalance

  • Smoother EXP Curve: The math behind leveling up has been completely rewritten. Instead of an agonizing grind (requiring over 19,000 EXP to hit Level 20), the new curve 50 + (Level * 25) ensures early levels trigger much faster to get your wolves combat-ready, while later levels remain a satisfying achievement.

  • Double Combat EXP: Wolves now earn exactly double the EXP for taking down enemies! The reward is now Target Max HP * 2 (with a guaranteed minimum of 2 EXP for even the smallest critters).

  • Double Mining EXP: Pack wolves now passively siphon 50% of the EXP you drop when mining ores (up from 25%), making adventuring underground together far more lucrative.

✨ Shared Pack EXP (Party System)

  • Global Kill Credit: You no longer have to worry about which specific wolf landed the final blow! If YOU or ANY WOLF in your pack kills a mob, every single RPG Wolf within a 32-block radius will automatically receive the full EXP reward.

  • Passive Leveling: You can now safely level up weaker/newly promoted Warrior Wolves just by having them sit near you while you or your Alpha do the heavy lifting in combat.

  • Devour Synergy: If a Level 20 Berserk Alpha lands the killing blow, it will still trigger its unique Devour heal and share the resulting EXP with the rest of the nearby pack.

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Under the Hood

  • Lambda Compilation Fix: Patched a strict Java compiler error (Variable used in lambda expression should be final...) that occurred during the Shared EXP entity scan, ensuring the server successfully registers the kill-owner before distributing EXP to the pack.
