# StarfieldPastoral Custom Non-Commercial Fan Project License

This project is a non-commercial fan project.
## 1. Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, the source code, original project structure, original writing, original design work, and original assets created specifically for this project are owned by the StarfieldPastoral project team and contributors.
Certain third-party game assets, derivative fan-use assets, names, audiovisual materials, or adapted content referenced or included in this project remain the property of their respective rightsholders.
## 2. Non-Commercial Fan Use Basis
This project is distributed only for non-commercial fan use.
Any third-party assets included in this project are not relicensed by the StarfieldPastoral project team. Their ownership remains with the original rightsholders, and their inclusion in this project is intended only under the original rightsholder's non-commercial fan-use allowance or other applicable permission basis.
## 3. What You May Do
You may:
- download and use the released mod for personal, non-commercial gameplay;
- include the unmodified released mod in a non-commercial modpack, provided that you clearly credit StarfieldPastoral and link back to the official project page;
- create videos, livestreams, screenshots, reviews, guides, and other content about the mod for non-commercial or platform-standard creator use;
- inspect the source code for learning and reference purposes.
## 4. What You May Not Do
You may not:
- sell this project, any modified version of it, or any asset extracted from it;
- use this project or any included asset for commercial purposes, paid distribution, paywalled access, NFT, AI training pack sales, or monetized asset redistribution;
- reupload this mod, in whole or in part, to another site, launcher, repository, mirror, or download service without prior permission from the StarfieldPastoral project team;
- redistribute extracted third-party assets from this project on a standalone basis;
- claim ownership of this project or its included assets;
- remove credits, authorship notices, or source references where they are present.
## 5. Modifications and Forks
Private modifications for personal use are allowed.
Public forks, public modified builds, ports, reposts, or derivative redistributions require prior permission from the StarfieldPastoral project team.
For the avoidance of doubt, this license does not grant you any independent right to redistribute third-party assets contained in or referenced by this project.
## 6. Third-Party Assets and Rightsholder Priority
All third-party assets remain subject to the original rightsholder's terms, policies, and instructions.
If any conflict exists between this license and the rights or restrictions imposed by a third-party rightsholder, the third-party rightsholder's terms control for that content.
If a rightsholder requests removal, alteration, attribution changes, or distribution changes relating to their content, the project team may update the project at any time to comply.
## 7. No Warranty
This project is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The authors and contributors are not liable for damages, save corruption, incompatibilities, or other issues arising from its use.
