🍄‍🟫 What is Spore Nexus 🍄‍🟫

In Spore Nexus, players can cultivate special resource-producing mushrooms that provide a new way to gather ores and valuable materials in Minecraft. The mod introduces new key items, the Nexus Fungus, crafted from regular mushrooms and upgradable to the Ethereal Fungus, which is used to create unique Resource Mushrooms that grow on Mycelium soils, special blocks crafted with spores such as Fertilized Mycelium and Enriched Mycelium or regular Mycelium blocks but the growth will be slower. Resource Mushrooms are crafted with a Fungus and 8 ingots of the ore or the resource they produce.

Spore Nexus is a Minecraft mod focused on resource-generating mushrooms that grow various materials. The mod introduces a rich progression system, crafting mechanics, and automation tools that allow players to gather valuable resources from unique mushrooms. With a focus on originality, creativity, and gameplay impact, the mod enhances the farming, exploration, and building dynamics of Minecraft.

The mod introduces an organic, farming-based alternative to traditional mining while allowing for some additional progression through upgrades, special items, and possibly mushroom-related potions or tools in the future.

🍄‍🟫 About the Mod 🍄‍🟫

Features:

1. Resource Mushrooms:

   • Mushrooms that grow and produce ore fragments and other materials. Right-clicking on a fully grown mushroom will harvest it, yielding ore fragments (4 fragments can be combined to form a full ingot), Fungal Essence, Mushroom Spores, Rare relics and Mushroom Caps.
   • There are also non-ore mushrooms for resources like Dirt, Stone, Sand, Gravel, and Clay.
   • Resource mushrooms must be planted on Mycelium Soils such as Mycelium (50% growth speed), Fertilized Mycelium (100% growth speed) or Enriched Mycelium (125% growth speed).

2. Mushroom Levels: The mushrooms are divided into levels based on the rarity and value of the resources they produce, adding a progression system to farming.

   • Level 1 Mushrooms: Basic resources like Iron, Copper, Coal, and non-ore materials like Dirt, Stone, Gravel, Sand, and Clay. Crafted with Nexus Fungus and the corresponding resource.
   • Level 2 Mushrooms: More advanced resources like Redstone, Gold, Lapis, the custom material FungalSteel, and non-ore materials like Ice. Crafted with the Great Fungus (Nexus Fungus + 8 Fungal Essence).
   • Level 3 Mushrooms: High-tier resources like Quartz and Diamonds, and non-ore materials like Blackstone, Netherrack, Glowstone and Soul Sand. Crafted with the Infernal Fungus (Great Fungus + 8 Infernal Essence).
   • Level 4 Mushrooms: Ultimate resources like Emeralds and Netherite. Crafted with the Ethereal Fungus (Infernal Fungus + 8 Ethereal Essence).

3. Essences:

   • Fungal Essence: A drop from all resource mushrooms, used in crafting higher-level mushrooms.
   • Infernal Essence: Crafted with Blaze Powder and Fungal Essence, used to unlock Level 3 mushrooms.
   • Ethereal Essence: Crafted with Chorus Fruit and Infernal Essence, used for Level 4 mushrooms.

4. Spore Relics & Totems:

   • Spore Relics: Rare mushroom drops (2%) used to craft powerful Totems that grant special abilities. 
     • Totems: Each totem provides a unique buff or power. Totems are crafted with a Spore Relic, Nexus Fungus, Andesite, and a special ingredient:
       • Regeneration Totem: Crafted with a Glistering Melon Slice.
       • Fire Resistance Totem: Crafted with Blaze Powder.
       • Night Vision Totem: Crafted with an Ender Eye.
       • Haste Totem: Crafted with a Golden Pickaxe.

5. Automation & Tools:

   • Mushroom Collector: Automatically harvests fully-grown mushrooms for easy resource collection.
   • Fungal Propagator: Spreads Mycelium on dirt around it, allowing for faster mushroom growth over a wider area.
   • Spore Spreader: Doubles mushroom growth speed by spreading spores to nearby mushrooms in a 7x7 area.

6. New Blocks & Materials:

   • FungalSteel: A green alloy made from Iron, Moss, and Fungal Essence, used in crafting advanced machines like the Spore Spreader and other blocks.
   • Fungal Lantern: A new light source with a unique fungal appearance that fits the mod’s theme.

    

7. Progression & Exploration:

   • Challenging Crafting: As players progress to higher mushroom levels, they need to explore different dimensions. Level 3 mushrooms require resources from the Nether, and Level 4 mushrooms require resources from the End, making exploration an essential part of unlocking the best resources.
