Spore: Mycelium Protocol
Contain the infection. Until something escapes.
Spore: Mycelium Protocol is a standalone compatibility/add-on. Instead of removing Spore's infection mechanics, Containment Breach creates a clear boundary between the infected dimension and the rest of your world.
Containment Protocol
Outside "The Mycelium" , Containment Breach prevents:
Natural Spore mob spawning, Spore mobs originating through normal spawn systems, Spawner-originated Spore mob creation, Spore's special infected fishing spawn, Spore world-generation features, Spore Dimension world-generation features, Spore and Spore Dimension structures from naturally generating
The result is a world where the infection begins contained inside The Mycelium instead of appearing randomly throughout the Overworld or other dimensions.
But Containment Can Fail
This mod does not simply delete every infected entity that exists outside the Spore Dimension.
If an infected creature genuinely escapes, is transported through a portal, or infection spreads through Spore's conversion mechanics, it can survive and continue spreading.
That means a breach is a real gameplay event rather than something that happens because the mod randomly spawned infected creatures near your base.
The containment protocol prevents the outbreak from beginning outside the Spore Dimension.
It does not protect you once something gets out.
TBMG Compatibility
The Biomass Must Grow (TBMG) remains functional.
This Is an Add-On
Spore: Mycelium Protocol does not redistribute or bundle the mods it modifies.
