SOL-ValPotato is a comprehensive rewrite of the Spice of Life: Valheim Edition mod, preserving its core mechanics while enhancing compatibility and extensibility. Notably, it offers seamless integration with mods like Some Assembly Required, enriching the culinary experience in Minecraft.

🧭 Overview

In vanilla Minecraft, the hunger system often feels like a minor inconvenience, easily mitigated by consuming large quantities of a single food item. SOL-ValPotato transforms this system by introducing a more strategic approach to sustenance:

• Three Food Slots: Inspired by Valheim, players have three food slots. Each consumed food item occupies a slot, providing specific health and regeneration benefits.
• Timed Effects: Food effects last for a set duration, during which the same food cannot be reconsumed, encouraging dietary diversity.
• Strategic Eating: Players are incentivized to combine different foods to maximize benefits, adding depth to the survival experience.

This system not only increases the survival challenge but also adds complexity and enjoyment to food management.
