Issues with other mods currently in use, and mob detection range meant that the origin can't be invisible. to compensate for that, we have only lowered the player models alpha, or opacity.
The origin was quite overpowered in many areas, one of them being stealth, on first release. This update includes a weakness to prevent a stealth playstyle. loaded steps makes EVERYTHING hear and see you from 3x further away than usual.
