By default, the Spell Engine calculates spell trajectories and AoE (Area of Effect) impact locations based on the player character's eye position and rotation. When using third-person camera mods like Shoulder Surfing Reloaded, the physical camera is offset from the character's head. This creates a severe parallax effect—causing your spells, fireballs, and meteors to constantly miss the crosshair, especially at close to medium ranges.
This lightweight mod fixes the misalignment at its core. By injecting a client-side Mixin directly into Spell Engine's TargetHelper, this mod forces the aiming raycast to originate from the Camera rather than the Entity whenever you are in a third-person perspective.
