Speed Control Tweak is a utility mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge) that allows players to freely adjust their movement speed up to their current maximum attribute speed directly within the inventory screen via the Ctrl + S shortcut.

All enhancements from equipment, armor, accessories, and potion effects are calculated on the original movement speed attribute, establishing the dynamic maximum limit.

• In-Inventory Hotkey (Ctrl + S): Pressing Ctrl + S while viewing any container/inventory screen opens the intuitive Speed Control UI.
• Maximum Ceiling = Original Attribute * Sprint Multiplier:
  • In vanilla Minecraft, sprinting applies a +30% modifier buff to the base walking speed.
  • To allow players to configure their desired speed across the entire achievable range without needing to sprint while opening the UI, the maximum limit is defined as: Max Speed=Original Attribute×1.3
  • Players can input any speed between 0.0000 and this maximum ceiling.
• Debuff Handling & Dynamic Re-Validation:
  • If a player suffers a movement speed reduction (e.g. Slowness potion debuff or heavy armor modification) and the dynamic maximum ceiling drops below the player's configured speed, movement speed is temporarily clamped down proportionally (the player is affected by the debuff as intended).
  • The configured speed is never permanently overwritten or degraded in player data.
  • Once the debuff expires or gear is restored, the mod automatically re-validates the ceiling and seamlessly restores the player's configured speed!
• Dedicated Adjustment Attribute: All walking, running, and movement calculations reference the speedcontroltweak:adjusted_movement_speed attribute.
• Identical Calculation Formulas: The adjustment attribute shares the exact same modifiers and operation formulas as the original attribute. When set to 100% (the maximum value), movement behaviors behave identically to vanilla.
• Seamless Multiplayer Sync: Custom speed settings are stored in player persistent data and cleanly synchronized between client and server via network packets.

1. Open your inventory (Survival Inventory or Creative Inventory).
2. Press Ctrl + S.
3. A popup GUI will appear displaying your Original Max Speed (Sprint) and Current Set Speed.
4. Adjust your desired speed using the text box, slider, or quick preset buttons (100%, Walk ~77%, 50%).
5. Click Apply (or press Enter) to confirm.

Speed Control Tweak は、Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge) 向けの移動速度微調整ユーティリティMODです。インベントリ画面を開いた状態で Ctrl + S を押すことで、現在の本来の最高移動速度以下の好きな速度にプレイヤーの移動速度を自由に変更・調整できます。

装備品、防具、アクセサリー、ポーション効果等によるすべての速度強化は本来のアトリビュートで一元計算され、それが調整可能な「最大値」の基準となります。

• インベントリ内ショートカット (Ctrl + S): インベントリ画面（サバイバル／クリエイティブ）を開いている状態で Ctrl + S を押すと、速度調整ダイアログが表示されます。
• 最大値 = 「本来のattribute × ダッシュ時の補正 (+30%)」:
  • バニラの仕様上、ダッシュは本来の歩行速度に +30% のバフ Modifier を付与する仕組みになっています。そのため、通常歩行状態でインベントリを開いてもダッシュ時の最高速度まで自由に設定できるよう、設定画面における最大値を以下のように定義しています： 最大値=本来の移動速度attribute×1.3
  • これにより、ダッシュしながらインベントリを開く必要なく、0.0000 からダッシュ時の最高速度までの全範囲を自由に設定できます。
• デバフ（移動速度低下）時の挙動と自動復帰仕様:
  • 移動速度低下デバフ（鈍化ポーションや防具の変更など）によって「本来のattribute」が低下し、ダッシュ補正込みの最大値がプレイヤーの「適用した値」を下回った場合、その最大値ラインまで実効速度が一時的に低下します（デバフの効果が正しく反映されます）。
  • この際、プレイヤーが設定した「適用した値」はプレイヤーデータ（NBT）上で決して上書き・消失されず安全に保持されます。
  • デバフが解除されたり装備が戻って本来の最大値が回復した瞬間、自動的に「適用した値」が再検証され、元の設定速度へスムーズに完全復帰します。
• 調整用Attributeの採用: 歩行や走行などすべての移動処理は、本MODで追加される調整用attribute（speedcontroltweak:adjusted_movement_speed）を参照します。
• 本来と同一の計算式・同一の挙動: 調整用attributeの計算式や基本スケールは本来のものと完全に同一です。調整用と本来を同じ値（最大値 100%）にした場合、通常歩行もダッシュもバニラと全く同一の挙動になります。
• マルチプレイ・データ永続化対応: プレイヤーごとに設定速度が保存され、ワールド再ログインやディメンション移動、マルチプレイ環境でも完全に同期されます。

1. インベントリ画面（サバイバルまたはクリエイティブ）を開きます。
2. Ctrl + S を入力します。
3. 速度調整画面がポップアップ表示され、「本来の最高速度(ダッシュ時)」と「現在の設定速度」が表示されます。
4. テキスト入力ボックス、スライダー、またはプリセットボタン（100%, 歩行 ~77%, 50%）で好きな速度に調整します。
5. 適用 ボタン（またはEnterキー）を押して確定します。
