Spears+ (Spears Plus)

Spears+ brings the Spear weapon to Minecraft 1.20.1! Inspired by Minecraft's newest weapon, this mod features fully functional spears with unique mechanics and custom enchantments.

Features

Seven Spear Tiers

Craft spears from Wood, Stone, Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite - each with unique stats and capabilities.

Combat Mechanics

• Jab Attack (Left-Click) - Quick melee strikes with extended 4.5 block reach
• Charge Attack (Hold Right-Click) - Build up velocity for devastating damage with a stamina-based system
• Throwing (Sneak + Right-Click) - Hurl your spear at distant targets

Custom Enchantments

• Lunge - Propels you forward when jabbing, perfect for closing gaps or aerial combat
• Super Charge - Increases movement speed while charging (costs extra hunger)
• Air Dodge - Perform multiple mid-air dashes with a spear - chain lunges without touching the ground!

Enchantment Compatibility

• Loyalty - Apply Loyalty to your spear and it will return to you after being thrown, just like a trident!
• Sword Enchantments - All sword enchantments except Sweeping Edge can be applied to spears, including Sharpness, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Fire Aspect, Knockback, Looting, Unbreaking, and Mending!

How to Use

1. Craft a spear using 2 sticks and 1 material (like a sword recipe but horizontal)
2. Left-click for quick jabs with extended reach
3. Hold right-click to charge, deals damage based on velocity
4. Sneak + right-click to throw your spear
5. Enchant your spear for enhanced mobility and combat effectiveness!
