My first mod!
These spears have all been calibrated and configured to utilize better combat but do not require it, although they will be much more boring weapons without it. (all spears/lance use the one-handed trident preset, and the giant sword uses the double-bladed-sword preset, 2-handed spear preset shoves the models through the players chest so I didn't use it because the clipping was ugly).
Contained within the mod are the following weaponry:
- Lance of Longinus
- Spear of Cassius
- Spear of Gaius
- Replica Spear of Longinus (false lance from end of Evangelion)
- Giant Sword (false lance from end of Evangelion)
- Spear of Gaius alternate form
- Spear of Cassius when in offhand
Attacks with Better Combat Installed:
This mod was developed for my own personal desire to have Longinus in Minecraft for aesthetic reasons and I could find no actual substitute on the internet that didn't force me to use optifine to "change the model" of some other tool, or a reskin of the trident "using optifine again". After making Longinus I couldn't just stop since no one has ever made any of the other spears either, so I modeled the rest of the spears too. If you too are also interested in the significance the name of the Roman centurion Longinus and what significance he had I would beg you to seek and obey the one who was pierced by that spear, that you would be drawn by his father the living god who is Yahweh, to his son whos name Jesus is Yahshua, he who conquered death that he will live forever and ever and will return to earth sometime soon to rule over us all, halleluyah.
Unfortunately the lance of Longinus cannot be thrown like a trident because Mcreator does not have the tools to easily make a custom tool "act like a trident", and all other documentation on the internet really sucks for Mcreator, so for now all spears/lances/sword have no special properties or abilities, they are simply "damage sticks". All weapons included do not use durability, and all items in this mod are immune to fire.
I don't intend to update this mod unless its simple & easy todo with the Mcreator file, if someday native support in Mcreator for making tridents comes into being I may be inclined to add that ability to all of the spears.
