Silk-touch spawners drop the block plus a spawn egg of their mob, and player-killed mobs rarely drop their spawn egg.
Spawner Harvest
A small Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.2:
- Silk-touch spawners — mining a monster spawner with a Silk Touch tool drops the spawner block (blank) plus a spawn egg of the mob it was set to. Without Silk Touch, vanilla behavior is unchanged.
- Rare egg drops — a mob killed by a player has a 0.1% chance to drop its own spawn egg. Mobs without a spawn egg (ender dragon, wither, …) never drop one.
Server-side; works on a server even if clients don't have it. Licensed MIT.
