SpawnAid is a lightweight that automatically grants new players a customizable set of starter items when they first join a world or server. It's perfect for survival worlds, adventure maps, or multiplayer servers where you want to give newcomers a helpful head start.

🛠️ Configuration

After first launch, the mod generates a config file at:
config/spawnaid-common.toml

You can easily toggle which items are given and how many:

giveStoneSword – Stone Sword (default: true)
giveStonePickaxe – Stone Pickaxe (default: true)
giveStoneAxe – Stone Axe (default: true)
giveStoneShovel – Stone Shovel (default: true)

🍞 Food

giveBread – Bread (default: true)
breadAmount – Amount of Bread (default: 16)
giveApple – Apples (default: true)
appleAmount – Amount of Apples (default: 8)

🔦 Utilities

giveTorch – Torches (default: true)
torchAmount – Amount of Torches (default: 16)

💬 Message

sendWelcomeMessage – Send a message when items are given (default: true)
welcomeMessage – Customizable welcome text

🧠 How It Works

SpawnAid uses persistent NBT player data to track who has already received their starter kit. Players only get items once per world, even if they log out and back in again.
