A collection of advanced utility artifacts designed to complement vanilla mechanics and elevate the survival experience.

Melee Artifacts

• Iron Blade
  
  
  A versatile weapon with longer reach and a wider sweep area than a sword. Its attack speed sits perfectly between an axe and a sword. Right-clicking allows you to guard, mitigating 25% of incoming damage.

• Shadow Drawing Blade
  
  
  
  The pinnacle of craftsmanship, created by combining an Iron Blade with a Netherite Ingot and an Echo Shard Smithing Template. It matches Netherite-tier stats and enables the Iai (Quick-draw) technique.

  • Iai Strike: Hold Shift + Right-click to charge. Once the darkness fog fully constricts, release while aiming at an enemy to dash forward 4 blocks and strike a target instantly.
  • Power: Strong enough to one-shot a Piglin Brute. If a kill is achieved, aggression will not spread to nearby mobs of the same type.
  • Utility: Slows nearby enemies during charging. Iai can be used for mobility or to boost Elytra flight. Movement speed during charging scales with the Soul Speed enchantment.
  • Defense: Guards 50% of damage, deflects projectiles, and negates status effects from physical attacks. Knockback enchantment compatibility allows successful melee guards to repel enemies based on the enchantment level without dealing damage.

• Echo Shard Smithing Template
  
  Crafted using a Netherite Upgrade Template and an Echo Shard. Required to forge the Shadow Drawing Blade.

Defense & Utility

• Echoing Shield
  
  
  A reactive shield capable of absorbing damage. While guarding, Left-click to release stored energy as a frontal shockwave (up to 50 damage).

• Lodestone Anchor
  
  
  Sync this device by Right-clicking a Lodestone. Once synchronized, it points toward its target.

  • Lifesaving Recall: If you take fatal damage while holding a synced Anchor, you are instantly teleported to the Lodestone's coordinates with 1 HP. The Anchor shatters upon use.
  • Constraint: Works only within the same dimension.
  • Compatible with the "Charm of Undying" mod.

Combat & Ranged Weaponry

• Composite Bow
  
  
  Features double the muzzle velocity and precision of a standard bow, resulting in twice the damage and range. However, it demands mastery: charge time is 30% longer, and each shot consumes 4 hunger points.

  • Durability: High durability; repairable with Copper Ingots.
  • Utility: Pressing 'B' while holding or charging the bow triggers Arrow Cycling, rotating through different arrow types available in the inventory.
  • Special: If enchanted with Infinity, there is a 50% chance to not consume Transposition or Spectral arrows.

• Transposition Arrow
  
  Swaps the positions of the shooter and the target upon impact. Deals zero damage, allowing for tactical repositioning without provoking neutral mobs. One Ender Pearl yields 8 arrows.

• Spectral Arrow (Enhanced) When fired while a Lodestone Anchor is in your inventory, any loot and XP from the slain mob are instantly teleported to the player's location.
