Space Saver

SpaceSaver is a Minecraft storage and compression mod designed to help reduce clutter by packing large amounts of common materials into compact storage blocks.

Instead of filling chests with stacks of the same resource, SpaceSaver lets you compress supported materials into progressively denser blocks. Most compression families support three additional levels:

• Single Compression
• Double Compression
• Triple Compression

Each level stores 9 times more material than the previous level, allowing a Triple Compressed block to represent 729 of the original item or block.

SpaceSaver supports a wide range of vanilla Minecraft materials, including stone and terrain blocks, ores and storage blocks, logs, Bamboo, Grass Blocks, Ender Pearls, Blaze Rods, Obsidian, Crying Obsidian, and many more.

All compression recipes are fully reversible, so materials can be packed away when storage space matters and unpacked whenever they are needed again.

The mod also includes several custom storage blocks for materials that benefit from a more specialized appearance, including crates, kegs, Flint compression blocks, Ender Pearl storage, and Blaze Rod storage.

Many compressed blocks use the original vanilla Minecraft textures with progressively darker appearances at higher compression levels. This keeps the blocks easy to recognize while making each compression stage visually distinct.
