Source Machine Dragon (Dragon Survival Addon)

Source Machine Dragon adds a brand-new dragon species to Dragon Survival: the Source Machine Dragon (源械龙), forged by the Source Machine Engineering Laboratory (S.M.E.L.) from precision machinery and an energy core.

Feed it metal, watch its Wear value and Source Energy Load, and it will answer with a full arsenal of mechanical abilities.

• Overload Mode — The buff effect from Overload Mode currently does not disappear after the ability ends. (Fix in progress)

Traits & Weaknesses

Traits:

• Immune to negative potion effects.
• Feeds on metal — metal ingots, coal, quartz, diamonds, blaze rods and its own delicacies.
• Manages two unique resources: Wear and Source Energy Load.

Weaknesses:

• Water Weakness (Short Circuit) — Contact with water causes continuous damage, energy leakage, movement slow, and ability lock.
• Heat Weakness (Overheating) — Hot environments cause the chassis to overheat, dealing continuous damage.

🌟 New System: Attribute Discs

The core of the Source Machine Dragon's combat is customization! You can now craft Attribute Discs to completely change the element and behavior of your Energy Breath.

How to use:

1. Craft a Blank Disc and an Attribute Core.
2. Open your inventory, and click the new mechanical button located at the bottom-right corner of the player model preview box.
3. This opens the Mech Modification Terminal (Custom GUI). Slot your disc in, and your Energy Breath will transform!

8 Elements Available:

• Fire: Applies Burn.
• Ice: Applies Slowness and Mining Fatigue.
• Electric: Applies Paralysis/Charged.
• Poison: Applies Poison and Weakness, bypassing some armor.
• Rock: Heavy knockback and brief Blindness.
• Steel: Armor penetration and rust.
• Wind: Launches targets into the air.
• Dark Matter: Pulls enemies together (Gravity).

(Note: Every element features 100% hand-drawn 9x9 animated pixel art particle effects for the breath!)

🔌 Ability Plugins (Framework) The foundational framework for Ability Plugins has been added. You can currently see the slots in the Mech Terminal. Full passive enhancements (Cooling Boosters, Waterproof Coating, etc.) will be implemented in the next update.

Core mechanics

Wear (磨损值)

Casting abilities and taking hits wears the chassis down. Eat metal to repair it — every food has its own repair value (from −15 for copper up to −100 for mixed metal).

Source Energy Load (源能负荷)

Spending mana builds up Source Energy Load, displayed as its own bar in the HUD next to your inventory. Push it too far and the machine runs into overload. (Note: Ultimate ability payoff is coming in the next update!)

Diet & Skins

Diet: Metal ingots (iron, copper, gold, netherite, bronze, high-carbon steel, red gold alloy, mixed metal), coal, quartz, diamonds, blaze rods — and the Source Machine Dragon's Treat, crafted from Elder Dragon Dust.

Skins: Two complete sets of skin components are included, covering every body part. More are on the way.
