Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
The workstation block
- A new look: a studio desk with a keyboard, a pad controller, a wide screen between two monitor speakers, and a rack with lit modules under the top. It faces the player who places it.
- Its item goes in SoundSystem’s creative tab, under the Studio banner.
The editor
- It looks like the mod’s screens and fills the window at any GUI scale.
- Channels: add a synth, a sample or a drum; right click a name to rename, duplicate, colour or delete a channel; each volume shows its value in dB.
- Patterns can be deleted. The piano roll has a scroll bar, and the wheel reaches the lowest and the highest keys.
- Drums made by the studio (kick, snare, hat, clap, tom) and four effects: reverb, distortion, compressor, three-band equalizer.
- A playlist on 16 tracks, tempo changes inside a song, and automation of an insert’s volume and pan and of an effect’s main knob.
- Save as and Export as use your system’s file dialog, in the folder you used last time.
- Project files are now
.ssproj(the old.ssflis no longer read). Formats 1 and 2 are still read. - A song made in the studio can be played by a DJ table through the DJ computer’s “Studio” source.
