Woah, that a big file. Throughout this entire project, I've always had problems with Minecrafts sound system, with some sounds stopping or cutting out or refusing to stop playing. To counteract this issue, I developed my own sound playing system. Im still using the built in Minecraft sound system for sounds that appear in the world; as in birds and waves on the beach, but what I have decided to override is the sounds that dont play on objects in the works, for instance in the nether the hell noises dont have a location; they just play. The same with the boss fight music. This new system is alot more reliable than the built-in system and allows me to do multitude of things. For example, with this new system, I can play music while the game is generating a world, or connecting to a server, or while the end poem is playing (which I did). All of these options where previously unable to be done.
So, whats actually new?
Well, actual gameplay wise, theres only one new thing. That is a song that I didn't compose and all credit goes to Philip Glass, but i did however edit the song from 6 minutes to 9 minutes 30 seconds, to fit the entire poem. The boss fights and the nether are very refined and seemingly perfect.
Why did you self advertise this as a HUGE update if you didn't add much?
Simple. I may not have added that much more to the mod, but code wise, I now have much more options to create. Im going to start development on a mode, whereas the sounds are much more... "interesting"
