Soulwarden

Soulwarden is a Spell Engine addon that builds a playstyle around the moment of death itself as a resource.

Every time a nearby creature to your Spirit Bolts, or with a 10% chance on hit, it leaves behind a soul fragment. What you do with those fragments defines how you play. Bind them to manifest a persistent minion that fights alongside you. Guide them onward to accumulate Soul Power: a stacking resource that directly amplifies the potency of your spells. You may choose only one of these methods.

Core Mechanics

Spirit Bolts

Your baseline damage tool. Spirit Bolts is a ranged projectile spell that scales directly with your current Soul Power, giving you damage that rises naturally as you accumulate fragments.

Ancestral Guardian

Summon an Ancestral Guardian: a defensive spirit that plants itself between you and a threat, discouraging melee pressure.

Pain Attunement

When fragment generation is too slow, you can spend your own health to produce them directly.

Exodus

Lead onward all nearby soul fragments to gain a massive buff to Soul Power and Regeneration, with a duration based on amount of fragments freed.
