SoulCampfire Effects Mobs is a lightweight, customizable Forge mod that enhances the behavior of Soul Campfires in your world.
When a Soul Campfire is lit, it emits a dangerous aura that applies the Wither effect to nearby mobs (default: zombies) within a configurable radius (default: 48 blocks).
The affected mobs will suffer the Wither effect for up to 30 seconds or until they die, complete with soul particles and sound effects for immersion.
