Changelog

1.1.0 (2026-10-21)

Adds what Sophisticated Storage Legacy and the new Backpacks features need; both require 1.1.0.

  • Compat materials: detects copper, netherite and the crimson and warped woods that other mods add (by ore dictionary, plus the netherite and Nether wood mods that register none), and loads each mod's recipes for them only when they exist.
  • Stack upgrades can divide as well as multiply (stack downgrades: a share of every item's normal stack, at least one) and go up to the omega tier.
  • Infinity upgrades (from the original 1.20): every item in the storage becomes endless; it must be the storage's only upgrade, and the admin one can only be taken out by operators. Endless slots show "∞".
  • Display side (from the original 1.20): storages that allow it (double chests) can show their display items on the front or on either end; a button in the item display settings picks the face.
  • Per-slot settings (memory, no-sort, item display) can be copied from one storage to another with the slots moved, and removed from a slot onwards (for double chests).
  • A storage can say it keeps no contents of its own (one half of a double chest, a Storage I/O block): a controller keeps it in the network but doesn't count or fill it.
  • Smoking and blasting (from the original): the cooking upgrades can smoke or blast instead of smelt. They cook in half a furnace's time and get half a fuel's burn time, so a piece of fuel still does as many items. 1.12 has no smoking or blasting recipes, so a smoker cooks whatever smelts into food and a blast furnace whatever is an ore or smelts into an ingot or gem (VillagerBackport's rules), plus Future MC's own smoker and blast furnace lists.
  • Stonecutter upgrade (from the original): a tab with the input, a scrolling grid of everything it can be cut into, and the result. The cuts come from VillagerBackport's and Future MC's stonecutters.
  • Detects a smoker, blast furnace or stonecutter from any mod (by block name); the upgrades that need one stay out of creative, JEI and recipes until a mod adds it.
  • Upgrade items can be hidden while what they need is missing.
  • Shift-click goes to the storage first with an upgrade tab open (a crafting grid, a furnace): items go to the open tab only once the storage is full, as the current original does. "Shift Click Into Open Tab First" in the settings is now off by default; turning it on brings back the old order.
