Sol's Item Rarity v1.5

This update focuses on inventory performance and smoother compatibility with Sol's Relic System.

What's new

  • Added new visual performance options for rarity effects.
  • Added an option to disable animated/chroma text while keeping static rarity colors.
  • Added an option to disable animated border effects while keeping simpler colored borders.
  • Added lighter border modes: Full, Simple, Static, and Off.

Performance

  • Improved inventory GUI performance when many rarity borders are visible.
  • Improved item border rendering performance in inventories, hotbar, and tooltips.
  • Reduced FPS drops when hovering items with large tooltips, such as heavily enchanted books.
  • Reduced repeated rarity checks while rendering tooltips, hotbar item names, colored item names, and slot borders.
  • Reduced RAM/garbage-collection spikes caused by repeated rarity lookups during GUI rendering.
  • Improved Minecraft 1.21.1 custom-data handling so rarity and SetID reads do less repeated NBT work.
  • Cleanup now removes empty NBT/custom-data shells too, so fixed stackables can actually restack.

Config Behavior

  • Visual handlers now bail out earlier when ItemRarity or its visual options are disabled.
  • Disabling rarity visuals should feel lighter and more immediate in large inventories.
