What it does
Vanilla Minecraft snaps the inventory/hotbar slot highlight instantly from one slot to another. This mod replaces that instant snap with a smooth, fully customizable animation — everywhere the highlight appears, including your hotbar during normal gameplay.
Features
- 4 animation styles: Fade, Slide, Bounce, or Default (no animation)
- Adjustable duration (100–1000ms) and easing on/off
- Custom fill color with an optional rainbow cycle (adjustable speed) and its own opacity slider
- Separate outline: its own color/rainbow, thickness (1–4px) and opacity, fully independent from the fill
- Trail effect for Slide — a fading, shrinking ghost trail behind the highlight
- Breathing — a subtle idle pulse while you hover a slot
- Soft glow — a softer halo instead of a hard-edged square
- Behind item — draw the highlight behind the item instead of tinting it
- Item grow — the item itself grows slightly on hover, with an adjustable size (1.1x–1.5x)
- Hotbar highlight — the same animated highlight on your selected hotbar slot during normal play, with an adjustable vertical offset
- Everything is configured through a Mod Menu screen — no keybinds, no config file editing
