Smithworks
A small vanilla-flavoured mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge. No new ores, no machines, no tech magic — just the gear the base game was missing: a composite bow, steel arrows, a dagger, a warhammer and a flint spear, plus a mangal that cooks food three times faster than a furnace and a whetstone that patches up your equipment.

The composite bow accepts every arrow from the minecraft:arrows tag, steel arrows included, and works with all vanilla enchantments: Power, Punch, Flame, Infinity, Unbreaking, Mending.
Mangal
A grill that cooks food only — and does it three times faster than a furnace: 70 ticks (3.5 s) against 200 for a furnace and 100 for a smoker. It burns any furnace fuel, from coal to lava buckets, gives off light level 13, smokes and crackles, and its screen has three slots: food, fuel and output.
Whetstone
Right-click with a damaged item while carrying flint to restore 25% of maximum durability — one flint per sharpening, half a second cooldown. It works on anything that can be repaired: weapons, tools and armour.

Install Forge 47.x for Minecraft 1.20.1.
Drop smithworks-1.0.0.jar into the mods folder.
The mod works on both client and server; on a server every player needs it.
Notes
Everything is crafted from vanilla materials — no new ores.
All items have their own creative tab.
Localisation: English and Russian.
The mod does not touch vanilla recipes or rebalance existing content.
