What's new

Pickaxe and lantern progression fixes

  • Fixed Copper Pickaxes failing to harvest iron ore and deepslate iron ore.

  • Corrected vanilla tool-tier checks overriding the mod’s configured ore progression.

  • Matching lantern detection now follows the corrected ore limits.

  • Verified all eight tiers follow the intended cumulative progression:

    Tier Highest ore group
Flint Basic ores, including coal and quartz; excludes copper
    Stone Copper
    Copper Iron
Iron Gold, lapis, redstone and emerald
    Gold Diamond
    Diamond Ancient debris
    Netherite Ancient debris
    Echo All recognized ores
  • Each tier includes eligible ores from the tiers below it.

  • Preserved custom ore limits, broken-tool restrictions and normal mining requirements for non-ore blocks such as obsidian.

  • Retained the existing stronger native requirement checks for recognized modded ores.

Sieve output changes

  • Updated both gravel-to-flint and dirt-to-clay sieve outputs:

Output amount Chance per completed sift
    Nothing 1%
    1 item 94%
    2 items 5%
  • Added configurable empty and bonus chances to the existing sieve_output_count setting.

  • Automatically updates the exact previous default of 0–3 drops to the new probabilities.

  • Preserves other custom count ranges. Custom ranges without probability fields retain their uniform output behavior.

  • Added validation for probabilities, their combined total and maximum output count.

  • Preserved input consumption, configured work clicks, sieve reset behavior and safeguards against duplicate drops from repeated empty clicks.
